Sack it to me....?

Do you have any
of these European
flax or hemp grain sacks?

I don't know why
but I love them so much.
Simple. Lovely. Textured.

I could have stacks and stacks
of them just sitting around.

I know they have probably
fallen out of
the crazed trendiness
they have had
for the last few years,
but I don't really care.

They still make me smile.

On the dining table on the patio last spring.

A lot.

On the chairs in my office.

On the island in the kitchen last fall.

Wish these were mine.

Last summer on the patio.

Do you love them too?

I do love them. Sadly, I have only one...a GW find-some demented person gave it away! I love the down-hominess of them. xo Diana

I love these over the burlap sacks, Alison. I'd grab these up in a heartbeat if I saw them for sale.

Yes, I do and I snatch them when I find a good deal on them. The prices are crazy. The last one I bought was only $36.

Alison, count me in as one who loves these too. I don't have any, but wish I did. I like the way you have used yours. Love the black ones. Your kitchen island and outdoor space are both lovely. ~ Sarah

Alison, yours are gorgeous.
No I don't have any yet. Keeping my eyes open when we are out antiquing.
Do you want to send any my way.lol

I don't have any, and would like one for a kitchen table runner, but rarely see them here. The few I've seen are either made into pillows, or are very coarse, almost like burlap.
Love yours in the office and on your patio.

I love them and I don't really consider them a fad...more of a classic. I don't have any but I've always thought I would like a couple of pillows. I like the uses you've come up with.

I love those sacks. It's like I was a sack fan back when being a sack fan wasn't cool. They wouldn't even have to do anything. Just sit at my house and look fabulous.
