Tartan Parade 2015

Welcome to the
Tartan Parade

If you have been following this blog,
you may remember
that back in 2012
we had a blogger parade with
four blogs sharing
plaid and tartan
vignettes from their homes.

Well, guess what?
It's time
 for another parade!
Below please find
links to the four original homes
AND as a BONUS
 we've added several more
bloggers to the list.

So if you are mad for plaid
like we are ...
please start here and
visit the 7 homes listed,
then come back and link up
YOUR plaid post below.

Enjoy all the lovely
PLAIDITUDE!

Here is the designated parade route:

So march from one blog to the next here
and see what each blogger is sharing with us!

These photos were taken this week
here at the Polohouse.
Tartan and plaid is pretty much
in every room and out on the porch too.
It looks good in an old drafty barnhouse
and keeps us warm in the evenings too.

Antique monogrammed horse brasses over a tartan throw.

Have been collecting piles and piles of plaid to sell at the shop this December. Hate to part with it!

Old vintage red plaid lunchbox has faded to orange in the sun and makes a perfect
addition to an autumn grouping in the kitchen.

Fall at the back door here -- plaid blanket included.

Find the Tartan Parade's hitching post below to share your plaid inspirations too

Hi Alison, Oh my, I'm never disappointed when I visit The Polohouse! Gorgeous tartans and a professional look at how to style vignettes. So much gorgeousness in one place. Thank you so much for hosting the Tartan Parade, I was delighted to participate.

Alison, I could move right in. I love how tartans and plaids are a natural for life at Polohouse. Every vignette is perfection. It's not just for fall or Christmas either. I echo Emily, much gorgeousness in one place and ALL professionally styled. I'm going to pin every image! I'm so glad you wanted to have a parade again. I love a parade, especially a Tartan Parade!

What a great collection of plaid, tartan. The season will be here and these are just proof of how good tradition can be. Wonderful pictures capture the look of tartan.
Hope that you have a wonderful season.

Allison, I love your tartan collection! I personally have tartan all over my house all year long. I love it and it reminds me of my Scottish roots.

Thank you for including me in your Tartan Parade! I am honored to be a part of your blog.

P.S. Have you seen Scott Mecham Woods new tartan line? If not check it out it is fabulous!

Hi - Denise suggested we paid a visit. Lovely colours! If you haven't already done it, maybe you should think about matching up the tartans to the clans - www.tartanregister.gov.uk looks like a site that might be of interest. Very best regards.

LOVE all your plaid - it's all amazing. Love your pics, your designs, your collections - so well done.

I have one plaid thing to my name, my vintage Woolrich plaid lap blanket on my wicker porch settee.....so sorry to disappoint in the plaid department!

BUT - let's talk about plaid wearin' Jamie Fraser the Highlander from Outlander, whoo hoo - now there's me some awesome plaid, just sayin' - whew.

So sad that I didn't get to join your party Alison. Love all of your gorgeous plaid photos! I did a post about plaid tonight and I saw that you had your plaid parade on both Sarah and Sally's blog. Heading to the tub, but I will be back for more plaid pretties!
