This silver charger trophy plate came from Waveney. Her home, Glendogal Cottage, was featured here. (See link below)

Trophy inspcription.... 1937, the year the polohouse was built!

Then Sarah made this antique horse etching into a glass paperweight for me. Perfect!

Michele at Hello Lovely Inc. made me this inspirational  prayer collage!

A vintage  pewter polo player pin detaches to be worn!

Isn't this beautiful?

I read C.S. Lewis all the time and probably will until the end. I think he was the most brilliant writer of the twentieth century.

Looks like your friends have good taste and know you well. What perfect gifts. I usually get a baseball hat or a key chain. I like your friends better. Richard from My Old historic House.

Alison, I can't think of a more deserving person for these treasures. Each one is meant for you! Thanks for introducing us to these ladies. I couldn't leave a comment on Waveney's post, but it was truly fabulous. I definitely think you two are kindred spirits. It is a special treat to get a peek into both of your homes. I find myself enlarging each photo to study each charming detail. Thank you for sharing with us. ~ Sarah
