Do you have a cloche?
I have a small collection,
and I pulled them out recently since
sweet Marty over at
is hosting a cloche party again
and I wanted to take part.
Which brings me to a question....
what do you put under your cloche?
Last weekend, I was looking for treasures
at our county flea market,
when I found these mushroom corals
that had been added to some driftwood
to make a little mushroom forest.
(It's all one connected piece.)
I added some reindeer moss
to the base and this is what I came up with.
Then......
on Wednesday, my friend
invited me to meet her at a house sale.
I found this little handmade glazed clay mushroom
to add to the mix.
Never owned a mushroom before
and now I have several?
Found this chicken wire cloche in the spring
and have been using it on the patio
to keep my pups
away from our picnic trays.
Here it is with my tin box of impatiens.
What do you think Marty,
does chicken wire count
as a cloche too?
:)

Girl, these are fantastic! What a fun collection, who would have thought what a presence they would make. Something to look for on my next outing... if you get a chance swing over to see a few of my cloche's. hugs ~lynne~
Oh my gosh Alison! I do love those mushrooms. How wonderful that you found them. You know the best places to shop.
Your chicken wire cloche is pretty with the impatiens under it, too. I like the wooden base and the alabaster ? base under your 'shrooms.too :)

Allison they are stunning. I love you mushrooms in the cloche. Like the chicken wire, so unique!
Oh so pretty. I adore your mushrooms, what beautiful pieces they are. I also think the cloches are fantastic and I really like the bases you have them sitting on. Your chicken wire coche is fabulous. I love the shape and I have a chicken wire one also. They are such fun and they definitely count.
You mentioned that the 5th entry in each column is cut off. It looks perfect to me on my computer, I so hope it doesn't look cut off to everyon else. I would hate to have anyone excluded so others can't visit them.
Thanks so much for joining the party, I really enjoyed your displays. Hugs, Marty
I can't believe the big wire cloches. I obviously need to get out more! I love your big one...perfect on the patio.
Wow, your cloche collection is gorgeous and that wire one is fantastic for outdoors. I bet Marty loves it!
Happy Wednesday!
Best wishes,
Natasha.
Chicken wire certainly counts for me! I'll have to add it to my wish list of cloches!
So glad to hear from you, thanks for stopping by!

Okay, I'm a little envious of your Mushrooms! That is one of the prettiest displays I've seen under a cloche. Additionally, it's so unique! I see some transferware in one of your pics too...lovely. That marbled mushroom is really neat to.

I love that you have used something so outside of the typical items.
My fairies would be happy to cavort among your mushrooms :)
Your coral mushroom cloche- I've never seen anything like your cute woodland scene.
Uh-oh, Alison ~ that's how it starts! I think you've got a new collection on your hands. : ) I love them and how very clever the first one is. It looks great under a cloche. I knew I'd see some good ideas at this party!
OMG so cute! Who would have thought mushrooms could be so pretty.

So beautiful, I love those mushrooms!!
Love your cloches....very pretty! The chicken wire one is divine...what a lucky find!!!!!

I love your collection of mushrooms. Toadstools always make me think of Fairies and magical places =)
If you ask me, everything looks better under a cloche, glass or wire. Alison, you have a gift for taking things and elevating them to art. Under my largest cloche, a statue of St. Francis, reminding me of his Prayer...where there is hatred let me sow love...
Love, Penny
Your cloche vignettes are absolutely lovely!
I hope that you will stop by and enter my giveaway.
Also, I have begun a new meme entitled Wayfaring Wednesdays. Link up your trips and favorite excursions.

Here I am for a visit at my fav house, The Polo one!! I love those mashrooms, how unusual they are, wow, and just love the cloches displays you've done. The wire ones are terrific...they all are and you've taken some fabulous photographs. Wonderful! Love, FABBY
Loved your mushroom corals... I don't think I ever saw corals so unique... they look amazingly beautiful and I love how you displayed them with moss surrounding them. And the impatiens are looking so lovely under the chicken wire. I love how you find amazing things to display your prized collection and create beautiful vignettes. Thanks for stopping by and for your sweet comment. Enjoyed reading it. Have a wonderful week!~Poppy
