What's in your cloche?

Do you have a cloche?

I have a small collection,
and I pulled them out recently since
sweet Marty over at
is hosting a cloche party again
and I wanted to take part.

Which brings me to a question....
what do you put under your cloche?

Last weekend, I was looking for treasures
at our  county flea market,
when I found these mushroom corals
that had been added to some driftwood
to make a little mushroom forest.
(It's all one connected piece.)

I added some reindeer moss
to the base and this is what I came up with.

Then......
on Wednesday, my friend
invited me to meet her at a house sale.
I found this little handmade glazed clay mushroom
to add to the mix.

Never owned a mushroom before
and now I have several?

Found this chicken wire cloche in the spring
and have been using it on the patio
to keep my pups
away from our picnic trays.

Here it is with my tin box of impatiens.

What do you think Marty,
does chicken wire count
as a cloche too?

:)

Oh so pretty. I adore your mushrooms, what beautiful pieces they are. I also think the cloches are fantastic and I really like the bases you have them sitting on. Your chicken wire coche is fabulous. I love the shape and I have a chicken wire one also. They are such fun and they definitely count.

You mentioned that the 5th entry in each column is cut off. It looks perfect to me on my computer, I so hope it doesn't look cut off to everyon else. I would hate to have anyone excluded so others can't visit them.

Thanks so much for joining the party, I really enjoyed your displays. Hugs, Marty

Okay, I'm a little envious of your Mushrooms! That is one of the prettiest displays I've seen under a cloche. Additionally, it's so unique! I see some transferware in one of your pics too...lovely. That marbled mushroom is really neat to.

I love that you have used something so outside of the typical items.

My fairies would be happy to cavort among your mushrooms :)

If you ask me, everything looks better under a cloche, glass or wire. Alison, you have a gift for taking things and elevating them to art. Under my largest cloche, a statue of St. Francis, reminding me of his Prayer...where there is hatred let me sow love...
