"Bird of Paradise" by Lisa Lygo

Lisa writes

"Images of fashion and fashion models
are the inspiration for my paintings.
I like to play around
with images,
changing clothing, hairstyles
and makeup
to create an entirely new image
which is combined with other
decorative elements.

I love the way fashion transforms people.

I like the fantasy of it all
and ultimately I wish
to produce paintings of beauty
with a basis in
both reality and fantasy."

Aren't her paintings lovely?

Alison, thanks for sharing this talented artist. I had missed the earlier post on Lisa's equine paintings, so I had double the treats tonight. Lady with Russian Wolfhound is my favorite.
