Image screening

Just got back from a
wonderful long weekend trip
to the Gulf coast of Florida --
visiting family there!

Came home to a new snowfall --
spring is unpredictable as usual
here in the Midwest.

It was raining yesterday morning
in Florida and I snapped a few shots
of this camphor tree
through a screened door.

The tree became somewhat
pixelated and the images
reminded me of needlepoint
or a tapestry.

Kind of fun, right?

what a wonderful effect! I've always thought it would be fun to do a photograph in cross stitch. lot of work, but could be so beautiful!

I like these images! Amazing how we take peeping through a screen door for granted. These brings a new light to the screen! :)

Great shots! I just got back from Naples, Fl, but luckily the weather here in NC is more spring like.

Very pretty. I grew up in on the FL Gulf Coast in the Panhandle area. Such a nice time of year to be there!

I have taken alot of pictures through the screens and didn't think they were blog worthy. BUT, yours are so pretty! I have to rethink this!!

Alison, this is a great idea! I like the effect, and you got some great shots. It does make me think of needlepoint.
Glad you had a fun trip. The FL Gulf Coast is so pretty!

Alison,
That is really pretty. I love beautiful trees and the screen gives the image effect of a painting.
