Are you a BLH?

So are you
wondering
what on earth is a
BLH?

Let me ask you this:

Do love to collect things?
Lots of different things?
Do you love collections
and groupings of these things?

If so....
raise your hand in the air!!!

Raise it HIGH.

A-huh...
You might just be
a
BLH.
Border Line Hoarder!
:D

Okay. So there it is...
it's out there now.

Don't you feel better?
(I saw a LOT of raised hands. I'm in goooood company.)

Okay, so back to my reason
for this post .... below are some of the things
I have been hoarding.

Antique leather or marbled paper covered books.

 Old brown transferware or ironstone

Anything PLAID

Old oil paintings, large or small

A little collage of some of  the collection around here.

Old walking sticks and canes.

Leather or hide covered antique trunks with nail head details.

Old silver trophies

English tunbridgeware boxes

It is what it IS.
:)

What are you collecting lately
that has you seeing hearts?

Do tell.

magazines and decorating books, pictures from magazines, old furniture especially tables...the list goes on, but I've been paring down this past year. I was doing well until I happened upon a piece of red transferware and fell in love!

You know I collect and many of the same things you have. I don't collect plaid things even though I do love a good plaid. I know I'm a hoarder!

I have BLH written across my forehead . . . my most recent "collections" have been . . .

White small ironstone pitchers . . .
Small collectible bowls, about the size of a lemon . . .
Garden stoneware . . .

Stop . . . it never ends. I find a "like" and it turns into "love." . . .

Your hoarding is enviable - don't stop. My problem(?) for years has been brown transferware and plaid! Sally

You got me and big time! I'm a dish hoarder then!! That is just the beginning, not enough room for all the things I collect, but I love it! Don't all of us hoarders love, love all of our treasures! Oh yes, indeed! I see so many of your tresures that I really love! Great and fun post!

My name is Katie and I am a hoarder. There I said it. I hoard hand painted dishes and platters. I also have at least 30 foundations in my make up drawer and 15 mascaras. I also hoard linen - not tablecloths but pants, blouses, and dresses. Thanks for allowing me to confess. Have a great week Alison!

Alison, I'm guilty! I have as many different collections as you do. I've a stash of white ironstone and brown transfer ware, vintage urns in all shapes and sizes, sewing scissors, dishes and more dishes, quilts, ………. goodness, more than I should be confessing to. '-)

Well, where do I begin? Lol! I won't name them all; but, my latest obsession is anything with a fleur de lis! It is out of control!

Alison,
I collect many of the same things you do! You always inspire me and I've added a few things, like the leather bound books with marble end papers to my list of "search for items". The search for little treasures is so much fun.

Karen
