May good luck be with you

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Wishing you a lovely day

filled with the good luck and much love.

Have my lucky little horseshoe here --

 another symbol of good luck.

Do you have any horseshoes

hanging in your home?

If so, which way do you hang yours

open end up or open end down?

"When kept as a talisman, a horseshoe is said to bring good luck
Some believe that to hang it with the ends pointing upwards
is good luck as it acts as a storage container of sorts
for any good luck that happens to be floating by,
whereas to hang it with the ends pointing down,
is bad luck as all the good luck will fall out.
Others believe that the horseshoe should be hung
the other way (with the ends pointing down),
as it will then release its luck to the people around it."

~ A NOTE OF THANKS ~

Just wanted to say thanks to many of you
who have written sweet emails of concern
checking on me since I was MIA from the blog!
Wish I had some great excuse as to why I
have not been posting, but the truth is that I took
on several new clients in January and never dreamed
just how crazy busy things could get!

But no worries. I'm back and will post as much as I am able.
I thank you for following me and for caring what I have to say!

It means the world to me.
:)

Love you guys,
Alison

Glad to see that all is well. I've missed the monthly Favorite Things series. Will it return? All is good luck around here with a birthday boy, corned beef and cabbage, etc. etc.! Sally

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and welcome back, Alison. Sometimes a break is good even if you're busy doing work or 'life'. I have an old rusty horseshoe that I keep outside in the summer. It hangs upside down as that's the easiest way. :)

Bonsoir,
Une très jolie publication... Je n'ai pas de fer à cheval d'accroché dans ma maison... Il est vrai que c'est un sacré porte-bonheur.
Gros bisous

Alison,
I'm so happy you're back. I've missed your wonderful posts.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. I do have a horseshoe and have it hanging up, maybe I should turn it upside down! :-)

I so enjoy your blog. But bloglovin is so sporadic that I often miss receiving it. Today I tried to sign up via feedburner, a much more reliable source, but it would not let me since I was already on the other receiving site. Can you suggest any way of fixing this? It's been a problem for months now. Thanks in advance, Vicki Daugherty in Louisville KY.
