Summer Whites in the Kitchen

If you know me,
you know I love
white ironstone.
It is noooooo secret.

Apparently,
I am not alone
in this addiction.

Take a look.

And after pulling
all of these photos together,
I decided to gather
 some of the whites
in the cupboards
and reunite them
on the hutch this week.

Okay,
deja vu ....

a Hoarders episode
is coming to mind!

Somehow when all
these things are behind
closed doors it doesn't
seem like
such
a big collection.

Yes, I can see now
I do have a problem~

(Note to self:  Stop buying white ironstone!)

You have a super collection. I am working on mine. Ordered a large Homer Lauglin water pitcher from ebay and it arrived in pieces. The seller is going to refund me. It was poorly packaged. Guess she will learn to pack it much better.

Hoarders....collectors....a thin line....but hey, if you have to hoard..oops collect something it might as well be fantastic and beautiful. I think the white against the brown in the hutch and then the brown and cream check chair together...pure art!!

Alison...oh-h-h I've always love white ironstone, even though I don't have a couple of pieces. Pitchers are some of my favorite pieces..oh and the tureens, too. Your collection is gorgeous and the alabaster lamp goes beautifully with it. I can see I need to get busy and expand my "collection".

Okay, I have no idea how I found you but man am I glad I did! :) First off, just about all the pictures you have shared today I have 'pinned'! I redid my kitchen and did it all in white and gathered all my white stuff and like you could not believe how much I had! ;) Although most of mine consist of milk glass I am soon discovering an addiction to iron stone!

consider yourself followed my dear!
