Last year,
I needed a centerpiece for my
kitchen island.
I had this great old
green iron Christmas Tree stand,
and this odd round wooden
wheel thing (that you have all seen before).
Decided to pair them together for a base.
Added a big glass globe vase on top
and in order to have it stay in place,
I added a couple pieces of Stick-Um
to keep it from moving.

As soon as I attached the glass,
I added white tissue paper
to build it up inside a bit to
create a foundation for
the snow scene. The snow completely
covers the paper so you never see it!
Added some old bottle brush trees
and a couple of small flocked velvet
white deer in the yard and there you have it!

That is the cutest and most creative decoration. It always amazes me...how do you end up with things being the right size,(tree stand and wooden circle) to fit perfectly and make something fabulous? :) Love that snow globe!
