A deer little lunch scene

Stacked up my collection
of lunch boxes
in the tack room today.

I only collect plaid ones....
imagine that!

My most favorite
and very rare one
just joined the group last week.
The GREEN one!

I decided to group them
and created a cozy little scene
for a fuzzy velvet
vintage baby deer I recently found.

Come on,
get your plaiditude on ...
it's December
after all!

You're a dear for stopping by today!

Awww, so sweet and love the lunch boxes. I'm sitting here wondering how your lunch box has such a shiny lid, and it dawned on me that you must have put a mirror in it to reflect the scene. Alison, you're so smart.

Very cute! I think my brother had one of those lunch boxes. I donated two plaid Scotch coolers to my friend who has an antique shop~I always thought they would be great at christmas with greens coming out of them. I put a group of tiny vintage plastic deer in my etsy shop today if you want some more!!

That is just as cute as can be. I love plaid, and that just takes the cake. The little deer in the box with the bottlebrush trees is a doll. I like your style.

Very cute. I love plaid too and have turned our sun room into the north woods just through the use of plaids and ginghams. I'll be posting about it this week.

Hello Alison... thank you so much for visiting me at my blog this morning and signing on as a follower... I can see we share many similar interests... I am signing on as your newest follower too!... love your little deer vignette... I also LOVE plaids, especially at Christmas time... looks like I have alot of catching up to do on your older posts... your blog is so lovely, I am making myself a cup of coffee and settling down and browsing through your blog... I recently found a little vintage flocked deer at the thrift store here for 75 cents... a little fawn, so lost and alone... I searched and found her mama (on Ebay) and paid her way here from back east...(quite a bit more than 75 cents!) but so happy they are reunited now happily under my vintage Christmas tree... xoxo Julie Marie

Love the lunch boxes! I had one of those, in the olden days. The reindeer is adorable too!
