Stacked up my collection
of lunch boxes
in the tack room today.
I only collect plaid ones....
imagine that!
My most favorite
and very rare one
just joined the group last week.
The GREEN one!
I decided to group them
and created a cozy little scene
for a fuzzy velvet
vintage baby deer I recently found.
Come on,
get your plaiditude on ...
it's December
after all!
You're a dear for stopping by today! |

You've just got the touch! Your vintage deer scene is precious!
Alison - Just saw your pin! The way you have it staged is adorable. I'm all giddy with pride for you. Now I best read your blog instead of looking at just the pictures.

That is so sweet!! I love the tartan lunchboxes, what a fun nostalgic throwback and the little setting you created is just too sweet.
How cute to STACK the lunch boxes! Love the new one too! I have a similiar little deer. You have given me inspiration for another way to use him! Hope your weekend is going great! XO, Pinky
Those are precious! Great way to showcase them too!
Awww, so sweet and love the lunch boxes. I'm sitting here wondering how your lunch box has such a shiny lid, and it dawned on me that you must have put a mirror in it to reflect the scene. Alison, you're so smart.
Soooooo cute. Love it!
That plaid is bad but in the very best way.
This is just darling, Alison!
XO,
Jane
You clever girl, you! I love that little scene. So sweet!

Too cute and I love your lunch box collection!
Very cute! I think my brother had one of those lunch boxes. I donated two plaid Scotch coolers to my friend who has an antique shop~I always thought they would be great at christmas with greens coming out of them. I put a group of tiny vintage plastic deer in my etsy shop today if you want some more!!
That's a sweet little collection! I love the green one too! When did you get a facebook page. I guess I didn't notice, anyone, I liked your page... of course!
That is just as cute as can be. I love plaid, and that just takes the cake. The little deer in the box with the bottlebrush trees is a doll. I like your style.
omg is this the cutest collection ever???
yep.
i've never seen a single one!
best to you.

Alison... you are amazing!
Very cute. I love plaid too and have turned our sun room into the north woods just through the use of plaids and ginghams. I'll be posting about it this week.
Hello Alison... thank you so much for visiting me at my blog this morning and signing on as a follower... I can see we share many similar interests... I am signing on as your newest follower too!... love your little deer vignette... I also LOVE plaids, especially at Christmas time... looks like I have alot of catching up to do on your older posts... your blog is so lovely, I am making myself a cup of coffee and settling down and browsing through your blog... I recently found a little vintage flocked deer at the thrift store here for 75 cents... a little fawn, so lost and alone... I searched and found her mama (on Ebay) and paid her way here from back east...(quite a bit more than 75 cents!) but so happy they are reunited now happily under my vintage Christmas tree... xoxo Julie Marie
I love your collection!! What a great idea! You are so creative :)

I've been collecting plaid lunch boxes for years. The minute I saw your green one, I began searching eBay, Etsy, etc. (with no luck). I've never seen a green one before. It's definitely a PRIZE!

Love the lunch boxes! I had one of those, in the olden days. The reindeer is adorable too!
