It took me a while,

1.
I love to fish!

2. I am afraid of lightning storms.
(When I was 6 or 7, I was caught at the top of
a country fair's Ferris wheel
with my Aunt Cindy
when lightning struck
and took out all of the power at the fair.
Two kind men had to manually pull us down
from the ride in the pouring rain and lightning.
I will never ever forget THAT!!! So scary.)

4.
I have been sketching and drawing
houses and interior room designs
since I was five years old.
(Which leads me to number 5)
5.
I wish I had gone to school
to be an architect.
6.
Every job I have had
since college has
been design-related.
For many years I designed game programs and yearbooks
for several NFL, NBA, and major league baseball teams
around the country.

I'd be afraid of storms if I got stuck on a feris wheel too. Then again, I'm always terrified I'll get trapped on one of those things anyway! Thank you for honoring me with this award.
Congratulations on your award, Alison! Oh, my! How nice to get to know you a little better! You are truly the smartest little one! :)
I'll have to go and check out some of these blogs.
Thanks so much for popping in to see me.
be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Alison, you so deserve these accolades and so much more. Thanks so very much for including me in the company of such talented bloggers. As Wayne and Garth would say, "I'm not worthy!" Thanks again dear girl! Love,Penny
Oh, Alison! Congratulations on your well-deserved awards! I am so happy for you! I love your site!
I love the blogs you share with us!! Much congratulations to all of you!
How fun that you met your husband walking down the street!! Love that! Don't love the ferris wheel story... that scares the heck out of me. I wanted to be an architect until I realized I had to be good at math and art. Now I'm more like George Costanza... "I always wanted to pretend to be an architect. " :) Hope you're having a great weekend, and thanks for your kind words. You're the best!
I enjoyed learning more about you. I have to say WOW about the ferris wheel, scary!
Thank you so much for mentioning my blog!!
