Poor me.
Can you imagine having
to house-sit
two dogs and two teens
for two days
in this location?
I am feeling so very sorry for myself.
This is Harley, one of the sweetie pie fur-balls. |
The kids are practically perfect --
sweet, mannerly and grateful...
the dogs are these lovable four-legged fur-balls of affection,
and the weather is 85 degrees today.
The park-like setting where the pups frolic. |
I guess I will have to
force
myself to sit by the pool.
Oh dear.
What's a girl to do?
.
Poor me, as I said.
Anyone care to join me
in my misery?
;D
(Oh my heavens..... went to pick the kids up at
school and realized later there was a dead chipmunk in the pool.
If you look at the first photo.... you can see poor
old Alvin floating there! )

ooooh no, we had that problem too, and we had to lay a barrier down of brick pavers around the parameter of the pool to detour them. Looks kinda silly, but no dead critters.
I'd love to come hang out, sounds like a fun few days! xoxo D
I want to go and keep your MISERY company, Alyson, what fun we would have, you don't know!! LOL!

Oh, my!!!! I was saying poor poor you and then the chipmunk comment made me say ewwwwww! Did you float with him???? Cracking up here!
Very funny - well, not for the chipmunk! What an amazing place to stay. And little Harley is too cute!

Alison,
Sorry about the chipmunck:( Have fun babysitting, and I'll be right up!
You'd better get out of that house of horrors pronto! There's no telling who's next...
That is hysterical! Maybe I shouldn't laugh about a dead animal but when you named him Alvin it suddenly became funny! I don't feel sorry for you btw. Looks like you're gonna have a good day. I think I will share pics of my dog soon. He keeps me company when everyone is gone during the day.
I'm on my way to help you through the terrbible suffering you must be doing. lol.... What a beautiful place to sit and watch darling children and the cute pups... I'm so sorry about Alvin, did you take hime out?.. hugs ~lynne~

Yea, the dog looks like he is going to have a terrible time too! The squirrel had such a terrible time he choked and died, belly-up. Have a fun time.

I hope you have a wonderful relaxing mini break. Enjoy the pups and the pool.
So sorry about the little critter.
We've had a duck and a turtle in our pool so I can relate - not so fun. But, there is something to sitting poolside that just can't be beat!! Enjoy!!
It doesn't get much better than that, does it? Happy week to you.
