Patio Pinks

My daughter had some girlfriends over
on Sunday afternoon for some pizza.

While they were laughing,
listening to music,
and catching up on the happenings
of their first week of school,
I put a little drink station together
for them on the patio.

It was such a nice warm day!

Have to savor the last remaining warm days!

No pics of the girls eating.....
the blogging mom (and dad)
were both given strict
instructions not to embarrass!

This time....
we followed the rules.

;)

Oh, to be almost sixteen again.

My day was spent moving six tons of mushroom compost and eight tons of pea gravel! No drink station for me, either. :(
There will be flowers next year, I hope!
Your home is so lovely!

I so badly want a drinks dispenser like that! I hope the girls were appreciative of your efforts. My boys don't notice any of those details like nice napkins and matching flowers. I do it anyway (for me). x Sharon

Such a gorgeous patio! I'm sure the girls appreciated all the prettiness you set up for them. We are having such great weather. Summer sun w/o all the humidity. It's wonderful!

Your patio and surrounding gardens (from earlier post) look so beautiful! Do you know that I finally realized that I had your url link on my blogroll wrong?! Anyway that is fixed...And I am doing some catch up while I have been home bound with a new puppy and now 2 sick kids home from school! I still want to try to make it out your way for a visit this fall.

You have such a charming way to turn simple things like a drink station into something magazine worth, I'm in love with the white pitcher, it's so different and lovely, Alyson and you're such great mom, one that takes instructions well! I was like this, followed them all the time! See you soon. Hugs, FABBY

Alison, this looks like a wonderful party. I totally understand about no photos. I decided not to publish a post because of some personal photos. Love the outdoor setting. Beautiful!

Lovely. I thought our warm days were behind us at the start of the week, but they are back in full force. I for one am looking forward to fall. I am sure it has nothing to do with being 8 months pregnant! Liz
