Reds, Whites, and Blues to You!

Happy Fourth of July!

Are you entertaining this weekend?

We aren't this year,
but are going to our small town's
Fourth of July festival ---
complete with a fireworks show, carnival,
and a concert featuring Rick Springfield!
(Remember him?)

One of my closest girlfriends
invited us to picnic with her
and her family and friends
sharing desserts and drinks in the park.

That should be fun!

Hope your special picnic spot
is full of the reds, whites, and blues
this evening too!

(BTW... I would never use a flag as a tablecloth.
This was for photo purposes only.)

"And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up
next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA!"

~ Lee Greenwood

Your holiday decor is lovely! Sounds like you are in for a fun day we! Don't we all secretly love Rick Springfield and didn't we all want to be Jessy's girl? I know I do and did!

Hope you had a wonderful day at the park for the 4th! Your tablescape is wonderfully festive and gorgeous, as our your splashes of patriotism at the Polohouse! And, of course, Rick Springfield rocks. ;) xo

Alison, your vignette is picture perfect! Glad you had a great day. The concert sounds like a fun way to spend the 4th.
Party here was fun, but way too much work with triple digit temperatures. ;-)
