Are you a Dexter fan?

Are you a Dexter fan?

If so.....
read on.

If not,
maybe you shouldn't?

But if you are....
you will probably get
a kick out of this
from StumbleUpon.com

Kind of funny, don't you think?

If I have offended anyone,
I'm sorry. I'm just having a little problem
with yesterday's verdict.

Forgive me.

I am a huge Dexter fan!!! *twisted, I know* We do not watch many shows on a regular basis, but we watch Dexter!!! Have you ever seen the Dexter furniture line? I wanted the dining chairs ;P

I think this is funny. Sometimes laughter helps dire situations. I have been thinking about that poor little baby all day. But God's justice is eternal!!! That has comforted me today.

Furniture line???
I must google that!

I believe that God
will handle this ...it's
all in the "plan"... we
just can't see it.

Thanks for commenting,
Ricki Jill.

Alison the hubby and I are big Dexter fans, we can't wait for it to start up again! I have a big problem with yesterdays verdict also. Martina

I agree with you about the troubling verdict. Just like O.J. she will reveal herself in due time. Seems the jury did not understand the difference between "reasonable" doubt "unreasonable doubt". We'll see what she does with the rest of her life.
I am ashamed to admit I don't know "Dexter". I am going over to find out more.
Hope you had a great fourth. Ginger

That is hilarious, Alison! I am a huge Dexter fan having started by reading the books several years ago. I order the series from Amazon so I'm always a year behind, but I usually take a weekend as my "Dexter weekend" and watch the whole thing. I even got my son-in-law hooked and he patiently waits for me to be done with my DVD's!

We are always a season behind too.
We buy the season package every year at Christmas and lock ourselves in a room for a couple days and watch it all --- practically back to back! Hilarious... it will be 3 am and we'll say... one more, can't go to bed NOW! It is so addicting. My MIL is obsessed with it as are many of our friends that we have loaned our CDs to so they could see what all the fuss is about!

We're right there with you Kathy!

(Have to admit... Dexter has taken the place of Jack Bauer and 24 for us!) I Loved Jack Bauer!

Hahahahahahaha!! Oh I only wish!! I have a BIG problem with the verdict too! AND Dexter is my favorite show! *winks* Vanna

P.S. Alison have you seen Sherlock Holmes the PBS' Masterpiece Theatre version? It's on netflix and if you love Dexter you'd probably love it too *winks* In this version Sherlock is a sociopath...it actually explains a lot! Vasnna

And I thought I liked you before, but this just solidifies it - we have to get together sometime. Dexter is one of the few shows that I've bothered to buy the season's DVDs. I was upset to hear about the acquittal. That pic is so funny - twisted of course, but funny. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Alison--good to hear from you!! No, I won't be out at grays--I am setting up at Kendall county instead--just planning on cleaning out some stuff for cheap. Sorry I'll miss you. Saw Jen and her sweet daughter at Kane--you need to make the pilgrimage sometime, as well. Thanks, as always, for the kind words! Best, Lisa (the frenchman's wife).

Alison,

Okay I admit it!! Yes I am, and I too was shocked by the verdict.

Praying she cannot make money from this horrible situation.

Can I please tell you my daughter can not let this go. I felt better after hearing the juror say they felt horrible and not guilty doesn't mean innocent. She seemed sincere and said they just tried to obey the law as best they could and it wasn't proved... if they didn't know how she died, how could they know who killed her?
Such a tragedy all the way around... that family destroyed...
You are funny... great post!

Hahaha...LOVE Dexter! I, too, have a big...HUGE...problem with the verdict.

This pic of Dexter is just about the only thing that has made this Central Florida girl laugh since Tuesday's verdict. Well, except maybe the look on her face when the judge said she wasn't leaving after sentencing this morning. Priceless!

Oh My Word, Alison... I LOVE that you are a Dexter fan! I had to read your comment to my husband, because we do the exact same thing. Get the kids to bed early, and watch as many back-to-back episodes as possible. We always stay up way too late, because there's never a good stopping point :) Glad we're not alone in our addiction!

Not offended at all. Couldn't agree with you more about the verdict.

Oh, she'll get hers, sooner or later. But like Karena said,I hope she doesn't make money from this.

I am not familiar with Dexter, but I will be now. Looks good! I am currently catching up on Glee. I don't watch much tv so when something is a big hit, I have to catch up!

Don't ever be sorry for stating your opinion on your own blog!
