Favorite on the First! VIGNETTES

Thanks so much
to all of you who
joined in on last month's
Favorites on the First
linky party
when you all shared your
sweet adorable pets!

I had so much fun
coming home every day
to pull up the blog on my computer,
to find the faces
 of your furry fuzzy loves!
Oh, my goodness.
So many sweetie pies.

This little fellow captured my heart with his persistence! Where there's a will there's a way!

Wish I could
hug every single one of them!
Thanks for sharing
them with us.

And here we are again
for the edition of
Favorites on the First
with this month's theme:

Vignettes!

So please share a post with us,
on one of your favorite vignettes
in your home. Can be a new or old
post, doesn't matter -- just join in!

Oh, and one more thing.....
sweet Jennifer at
The Old Painted Cottage
is featuring my home
at her
Cottage of the Month!

I am honored and shocked
and beyond words, really.
THANKS SO MUCH JENNIFER!

Happy Month o' March to Ye!

I enjoyed seeing the extended post of your wonderful Polohouse! Your house at the top of my Top Ten favorite homes ever, Alison. The only thing sweeter is your kind, down-to-earth self!

First off.. your house is STUNNING and it was great to see more of it. Um, where is your three legged pony from the kitchen? Is he running to my house for a visit??

I linked up an older vignette but one that is a favorite of mine... the succulents and silver.

Have a wonderful day girlie!

Alison - Help! I linked the wrong post to your Vignettes Linky Party. I accidentally linked my post entitled "I Can't Live Without" but I meant to link "Vignettes at Tartan Terrace." (This is what happens when you give new bloggers too much power.) Help!

i do not know how I missed the pet party. Darn. I sure would have loved to posted about Ms. Sissy Dog. Great job. Richard from My Old Historic House.

Alison, of course you are featured at the old painted cottage. I spent many hours going back in her archives one day and enjoyed that very much. Your house will be one of the few with color. Thanks so much for putting my kitty, clovis, in your features. We already think he has the big head. hugs, olive

I plan on linking up tomorrow. I was gone all day and don't have anything prepared yet. Thanks so much for featuring my pet today! I saw your home featured on Cottage of the Month at The Old Painted Cottage and must say I was SO impressed! I was able to see some rooms that I don't think you've shared yet. Your bedroom is gorgeous! I've always loved your kitchen and your tack room area all done up in equestrian style. Your house REALLY should be featured in a magazine. It is just full of unique and beautiful decor. Even your property is beautiful!

Congrats on the cottage of the month feature. Love seeing all of your home again. I guess that is the master bedroom that was shared. Love it.

My friend Annie who passed away in Oct 2010, was the Queen of Vignettes! Her talent in this area was amazing. I would purchase all kinds of wonderful things from her store and events and would try to emulate {tho poorly lol} her vision in my own home. I learned SO much from her, and i miss her everyday. Being able to use the blog post i did about some of her favorite things now at home on my screen porch is touching....thank you.

Alison,
Thanks for featuring our Lucy. Her tail does make her look like a fox in that photo. I didn't link up today because I'm just not good at vignettes. It's something that I need to work on and I could take lessons from you. Congratulations on your home being featured. I have spent many house on that site looking at all the gorgeous homes. Off to visit now!
