Vintage Gobblers

It's almost turkey time!

Close-up of my large Thanksgiving vintage platter.

Less than a week away now.

This is a large  old classroom turkey cut-out.... great colors but he looks mean!   

Time to pull out my very 

very small

collection of vintage Thanksgiving

decorating items.... 

and there isn't much

I am afraid!

(I guess it is because I just don't think

turkeys are very cute!!!)

This is our favorite, a paper mache' set. Cute pilgrim girl riding a pumpkin cart pulled by a cute turkey. 

Just got these little vintage wax candle turkeys today, and the wicker bottle.

I don't know 

anyone 

who really collects these 

unattractive little fellows,
