Forgot to tell you ...
I got a new camera for Christmas.
Haven't really had a chance
to sit down with the manual and
figure it all out.
Might have to take some classes
to really learn how to use it,
but that's not happening any time soon.
No extra time!
So here are some pictures
of a breakfast vignette.
Pecan granola, skim milk,
and fresh blueberries,
mixed with vintage pieces.
Trader Joe's Pecan Maple Granola with huge clusters..... just yummy! |
Old gathering box with a leather strap handle. |
Have had this African violet for almost ten years! |
Old hotel silver lipped soup bowl and Tiffany spoons my mother-in-law gave to me. |
Have a great weekend!

What a beautiful combination. I love that little silver dish holding the blueberries. The rustic wood and the white dishes mixed with the silver is such a beautiful combination. Wish I had a Trader Joes near me!
Great pictures and what a good looking breakfast. What camera did you get?
It looks like you got the hang of it, Alison! Your shots are beautiful! I just got a new camera as well and I need a lot of practice. You are right...just no time.
How about all this snow! I wonder if we are through for awhile!

Great shots dear Alyson, I can see you got a super camera, wow! I'd like a new Nikkon one too, but I have a semi-pro that's great only it's big, not easy to take her every where. I love granola cereal, I make great cookies too, I posted a while back. Do you know if there's a T. Joe's in Miami? Lots of hugs, loved your post. Hugs,
FABBY
What a healthy and nutricious breakfast! It looks so nice in that sweet carrying box. Have fun 'playing with your camera'! :) Pamela

The blueberries are wonderful and the images are too. We drive 90 miles to Trader Joe's and it is worth it.
A new camera sure makes a big difference. I'm a fan of granola,
I make my own. Love the dishes.
Cameras take time. You made some lovely snaps, new or old! Love Trader Joes, always stock up when we go to Atlanta. Sweet African violet plant, wow ten years, what's your secret. Beautiful bowl and spoons from you MIL.
Hope you are having a great weekend. Hope you're not snowed in………
