Vintage at the Back Door

This is the scene at the back door this holiday season.

A vintage wooden sled, some vintage metal snowshoes
I found on Ebay last month, an old lard tin
turned Christmas tree pot, and some vintage skis.

They are all sitting with a new but vintage-inspired
destination bus blind that I bought last year
from a dealer on Etsy. He customized some of the
destinations for me. Lots of Christmas references there!

Unusual, aren't they?

I am REALLY enjoying all of your blogs,
getting inspiration
in every photo you have posted.
Thanks for sharing!

Looking forward to some time off from my job
over the holidays so I can catch up and take in
all the glorious holiday decor
I have been missing!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Such a great idea the can. I have an old potato chip can in the garage, now I know what to do with it. Thanks

What a fun sign and your vignette is fabulous, like everything you do, pretty lady from the Polo House. I've been away at my daughter's town helping her move to her new house and I missed everybody, so here I am to wish you a very Merry Christmas full of joy, presents and love. FABBY

Alison, your back door area looks great! Love all your choices, what great finds. I did get a pair of skates from eBay, this week, a little late for this year. But I have them for next or maybe I'll stick them somewhere.
Merry Christmas,

I want to come to your house for Christmas. I chuckled when I saw your vintage snowshoes because when my blog partner/daughter and her new husband bought their home last year in Syracuse, they promptly got five feet of snow. They bought snow shoes and used them!!! It was a big adjustment for my southern girl.
