Maybe other bloggers
have already
been blogging about
but just in case
you have not heard about it
I wanted to tell you
the exciting news!
Last September while Jenn and I
were in Minneapolis
shopping the Junk Bonanza
for our little shop
(shameless plug, I know....)
we ran into the famous
(editor-in-chief of Flea Market Style )
at her annual extravaganza
She and her staff
(to include her sweet son, Tyson on left below)
had us sign up
to take part in their newest
business venture:
What is FleaQuest?
It's an easy-to-use
online database
-- a nationwide directory --
of flea markets, antique shops,
vintage sales and markets,
and more.
So let's say you're planning a
road trip with your best friends
and you're going to be in
Atlanta, GA
or
a tiny town nearby
and you want to go
treasure hunting.
You can pull up
and tell them you want
a listing of all shops or antiquing events
in a
5 - 10 - 25 or 50 mile radius
of the area where you plan to be and
will give you active listings
within your search guidelines
and a map with directions
of whatever kind of venue
you are wanting to shop.
You will find reviews
and store or event hours
and everything you need to know
to hit all the antiquing spots
within your area.
It's just been formally introduced
and they are quickly building
their listings and database.
So if you own a shop,
or you are an active shopper that knows
of a great event or store not yet listed,
you may want to tell them to
sign up!
Jump on the bandwagon.
Check it out.
Save it on your phone.
You just never know when it
may come in handy --- especially
when you can access it on the spot.
Genius.
Thanks Ki!
This sounds like a great site. Can't wait to use it.
