Pennsylvania for the Holidays

Beautiful round red barn in Pennsylvania

Have been back home for the holidays --
in Pennsylvania, but will
 drive back to Illinois tomorrow.
Have been having a great time
catching up with my family.

We play lots of games
and get really silly.

Is your family a game playing bunch?

spoons

We love to play "spoons"
and this year,
we also played two new store-bought games:
"What?" and "Logos."
Both were lots of fun!

My sister, Susan, bought us all
fake moustaches from the dollar store
which we all wore and laughed until
we cried with them.
Hilarious.

(Would have shared the photos
but there were many taken
and I would need to get permission
to publish some of nieces and nephews
images on the web so I better not!)

Wanted to wish you all
a healthy and prosperous
 2012
and to remind you
one more time
about the
Favorites on the First
Linky Party!

Theme this month will be your favorite COLLECTION!

Write a new post on your favorite
collection
OR
link up an older one
and join in on the Linky Party
 on the First with me.

Midnight champagne for the New
Cheers to you my friends!

Thanks so much in advance~

Well I have only driven through, never really explored, would love to. We always play spoons, can get a little wild. My nieces and nephews love it. Looks like your family is a close knit group. That's great. I hope you have a safe trip home and the best New Years Eve ever. Happy 2012 from My blog to Yours. Richard and Sissy dog too!

Happy New Year Alison!
We are total game players at our house. My sisters and I (sometimes we get the husbands and parents to play) and now my kids since they have gotten older, like to play Apples to Apples, Wise and Otherwise, and Imagine If. This year we added a new game ~ Say Anything. We have lots of fun and end up with inside jokes from those word games that last years!

Sounds like a great time Alison! I love Pennsylvania. Now what in the world is spoons? It sounds like fun. I know what you mean about the picture thing these days. I notice whenever I take pictures, my teenager feels the need to pose or fix her hair - all the time! Now I know why - they might end up on FB!
Can't wait t o join your new party.
Happy New Year!
xoxo,
Kim

I wish we were game players but now there is not much FAMILY left, sadly. Christmas is getting smaller and smaller. HAPPY NEW YEAR and safe travels home! XO, Pinky
