Bottle Brush Trees

In the kitchen,
the hood above the stove
has a very narrow ledge on it.

So.....
what do you put
on a narrow ledge
at Christmastime?

How about a vintage bottle brush collection?
Okay!

Vintage glass battery jar filled with old glass bulbs.

My friend Jenn,
has a huge vintage collection
of these sweet little trees,
and I know many of you collect them too!
When I saw all of hers together....
I fell in love with their unique shapes and colors
and decided to start collecting them too.

(FYI: Buying them in the summer
and at non-holiday times
are best to find
bargains on these little guys.)

However, buying them in July
and trying to remember where you put them
in December..... well THAT is another
entire post topic!  Ha!

Do you collect these little trees too?

What a great way to decorate what appears to be a challenging space. Looks great Alison. I do have a few of these sweet little trees but probably not enough to consider them a collection.

That's a smart way to decorate that narrow space, Alison. I just love those little trees. I have some of the regular old bargain store kind and use them in vignettes. The painting is cute. Love Santa's sparkling boots.

Every time I see those bottle brush trees, I want to pick one up. They have them in assorted colors too. Your decorating looks wonderful, and I really like that painting. Enjoy the season, my friend.

Alison,
Bottle Brush trees are some of my favorite things and yours are in the perfect place! They look wonderful above the stove. It's always fun to look for vintage Christmas during the year! You're right about the remembering part, that's the hardest!
Merry Christmas

Your kitchen is special any day but the little trees do enhance it. I have one vintage bottle brush tree and it is big and very pretty. I am looking for more vintage Christmas everything.

I love your range hood. It's perfect for your tree display. I only have about 5 and I know they are old but there are so many new ones out there. Any hints for telling the difference?

I definitely have a case of bottle brush tree/wreath envy. LOVE your collection on the range hood. Did you stick them on with glue dots?
