Le Faded Fleur

I went shopping with my daughter
to one of our local flea markets.
Shocking, right?
:)

Well, we came across this booth,
with the sweetest mother/daughter duo
who were selling all kinds of wonderful items.
Jody and her mother, Rebecca,
had their booths displayed so well.
I wanted to buy everything!

Lots of chippy white antiques,
old ironstone,  Victorian furniture,
linens and laces,
lovely jewelry.... gorgeous things.

Their collected objects were so pretty,
but I wanted to share the bags
and pillows that Jody makes
using pieces of old
antique lace and vintage monogrammed linens.
I went crazy for them!

Aren't these pillows gorgeous?

Jody has a shop on Etsy
and she sells her items there as well.
She also takes custom orders,
so if there is an initial you would like her to make
into a pillow or a market tote bag,
just let her know.

Her Etsy store is called Le Faded Fleur.

Here she is with her mom!

Her mother has a blog,
maybe you are familiar with it?

(She just posted a piece she transformed
with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
Go check it out too!)

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. What beautiful pillows! I've given away old linen and lace goodies I've inherited. Wish I'd seen these first! I might (maybe not) have done something pretty with them!

  2. I simply adore vintage linens too, and besides vintage dishes, that's what my eyes look at first at antique stores. A lot of mine are tucked away, but it's wonderful that these women put these beautiful pieces of the past to good use.

Sorry I haven't answered your e-mail yet. I did see it, but have been swamped lately and am behind on replying. Thanks for letting me know about your painting talents, and I hope we can see some more of your goodies sometime soon!

Oh, and your post was great, too :)I'm going to check out their etsy store.
