Farmer's Summer Harvest

The buffet opposite the kitchen table.

Close-up of farmers in the pastoral oil painting.

The summer is
 officially over at our house.

School started today
and the house is very quiet.

 I found this lovely saying
and thought I would share it
with you.

Enjoy!

  19. Hey, girl! I probably sound like a broken record (based on prior comments) but I really LOVE THAT TIN COW! And I also smiled when I saw your hedge apples (as we used to call them in Kansas) or osage oranges (as they call them in these here parts). My dear husband has been known to steal them out of people's yards for me to use as decorations in the fall! Don't you just love them? And thanks for linking up over at Club G.W. with Charm Bracelet Diva! It's great to see you there!

    xoxo

  31. Alison, I love the farm scene painting and the containers with Osage Oranges, feathers and is that corks in the other one? I can't tell. Do Osage Oranges grow near you? The farm scene and Osage oranges remind me of my grandfather's farm in TN. Actually, I like your whole vignette... but then I always do.:)
