ReplyDeleteI love to use mirrors in my home. I think my favorite thing is the way they enlarge the space and the extra light is a bonus too. I am currently trying to hang a new one in my breakfast room ~ kind of funny watching yourself eat!!

Well I'm a mirror-0-holic *winks* Well....as you already know pretty much an anything o-holic!Lol! I can't get enough of em. And please make them as ornate as can be. But they need to be old. I don't care as much for new ones. There's something so wonderful about that hazing from silver loss that makes me weak in the knees. I only wish I had more wall space for more of them. And yes I do wonder how many others gazed at themselves? Great post Alison! Vanna

We've got very funky mirrors in our master bath that I found at Restoration Hardware - they make quite a statement. I love those depicted in your post - I like many different looks, often wish I could re-do my house..like, once a year :-)

I love mirrors of all kinds. I have one exactly like the CL one. In fact, I had to look at the initials twice, but they were different. Found mine at an estate auction.

I love mirrors and have a mixture of plain and fancy. Some have very heavy and ornate carvings on the frames and some are quite simple. Some are not hung on the wall, such as my mirrored vanity tray. They are such lovely accessories.

My son helped me build a twig frame around an old piece of mirror. Wouldn't you know that when it was done the mirror broke, too tight. Have an arched window from a friend's home that's about 105 yrs old. Had the pros put four mirrors in for the panes. So special now. Also treasure my barn wood framed mirrors made by family. Sounds country all the way around.
