Spring IS coming, right?
Having serious doubts.
Everything gray and dead outside.
But,
the grocery store had fresh cut
Bells of Ireland
and parrot tulips.
And they were green.

On the hunt for some mother-of-pearl teaspoons, anyone know where I can find some! Only need teaspoons. Forks and knives are so easy to find! |
I'm craving green right about now.
Happens every year at this time.
Now it feels a little more
like spring inside
even if it's not outside.
These little tumblers are new from Pottery Barn and they are acrylic! Perfect for the patio this summer. |
Simply beautiful, fresh and bright. I have not seen the rattan wrapped wine decanters and love them, do you have a source?

Oh what a lovely tablescape. I love it. So pretty and the perfect green. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty greens on your table and have never seen green tulips before. They are gorgeous. I have used a lot of green for my inside decor this spring to give me a feel of spring while it's still white outside. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreen tulips. How pretty... never seen green ones before, but lets face it, we don't see many tulips in Florida at all.Pretty table.

Alison, your tulips are gorgeous and perfect for this lovely tablescape. I've plenty of MOP knives and forks too, but teaspoons have not come my way either. I saw a beautiful set on eBay a year or so ago from a dealer in FL. They were way out of my budget. First time I'd seen teaspoons. I wish I had pinned the photo, but didn't think of it at the time. Good luck with your search. If you find a source, I'd be interested too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your green spring. Funny, but it was in the high 80s here much of the week. Today in the 50s-60s. I was back in a sweater.
The greens are so fresh and pretty. Bells of Ireland are one of my faves but I've never heard of green parrot tulips! Great combo! Also love the rattan-covered vases. Where did you get them? xoKathy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I am always craving green this time of year too! Everything is so ugly outside right now and the grass is still brown. I am hoping for some sun this weekend to help some things bloom. Luckily it is supposed to hit 60 tomorrow! - Shelley
ReplyDeleteLove love those plates etc, just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteAlison,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful reflection of spring...I'm sure it will lift your spirits until the sunshine does it's magic on your wonderful garden. I love ruffled tulips and Irish bells.

What a BEAUTIFUL table, Alison! Before we came down here to Fl. I was in the exact same spirit, CRAVING green!!!! I did several green tables too. I love the parrot tulips and bells of Ireland, 2 of my faves. We are still in Fl. cause we were in an accident on the way down and are waiting for our car to be repaired. I did a post about it today. XO
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Alison! I'm loving green right now too. I didn't think spring would ever arrive down here in NC, but I think (fingers crossed) that it finally has. We don't have nearly the cold and snow that you do where you live, but this has been an unusually rough winter here. Glad to see it gone!
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that your posts are appearing in my email again!!!..so time to catch up...the table is gorgeous..and i so love the Bells of Ireland...The table is so gorgeous Alison...and yes, those PB glasses look like real glass!...I could not believe it until I actually saw them at PB...Spring is finally here in my area!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I don't know if I can be friends with a tablescaper!!! But it is beautiful! Hope your dinner was lovely.
