Fall plaids and mums

A couple years ago

 my friend, Sena, 

was moving from her  

 beautiful old stone farmhouse,

and she called me and told me she 

had something to give to me.

At the time,

I remember wondering 

what it could be?

Then one day it arrived!

It was an old chicken nesting bin.

So cleverly, 

she had kept it

 in her kitchen's walk-in pantry

where she used it 

as cubbies to keep her family organized.

Such a cute piece, right?

So this week it is

by the back door filled  

with mums and some other things 

for some seasonal color.
