  1. Beautiful pictures, Alison! We are just starting to feel slightly like Autumn around here. It has been raining for the past 4 days; and the temps have finally cooled a little to the 70's. I wish we could see scenery like this!

  2. Allison these are some stunning photos. Fall is the most beautiful time of the year, at least in my opinion.

I hope that you have a great week!

  3. Hello Allison... all of those gorgeous photos have me just sighing and oohing and aahhing... Autumn is my very favorite time of year... we have gone up our beautiful canyons, which are only about five minutes away from where we live... the colors are spectacular, (I have done a number of posts about them)... we pack a picnic also, and I gather lots of pretty fallen Autumn leaves to bring home and press... and our trail I walk my sweet English Pointer Tessy on is stunning right now as well... and of course, I love my plaid too... year round, but especially in the Fall... Tessy got a new plaid fleece!... Happy Autumn!... xoxo Julie Marie

  5. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains in NC so we see the fall colors every day. Ours are just starting to change. We are planning a long drive in a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to it.

  9. Alison,
Believe it or not, we SoCal folks delight in any and all liquid amber trees or birch, as they change colors with the cold. Hey, we have to take Mother Natures seasonal show where we can get it. :D

  11. So beautiful...takes me back to the days of many picnics with my parents and siblings ... all of us piled in the station wagon and eating at the picnic tables of beautiful parks...I think that is why I love collecting picnic baskets...Happy Fall!

  19. Thanks for sharing these beautiful scenes of colored foliage. I am ready for a picnic.
sorry, no color here. Pines and palms don't offer much fall color.
