Normally we share something
that we have that we love,
but this month it's a little different...
a little "wishful thinking"

Hi Alison! Hope all is well....been away for a few days so playing catch up. LOVE every single pattern here and own the Woodland which is the perfect china for the holidays....all the others are spectacular too. I collect antique Limoges but honestly love soooo many others too:)

ReplyDeleteAlison, oh, I do adore the patterns on your wish list. You need at least one set of hunt themed china for Polohouse. I have some plates in Country LIfe by Churchill and 2 plates and cups with saucers in Copeland Spode Herring Hunt Scene. All found at estate sales as thrifty buys. I adore the Hermes for its simplicity and the Crown Staffordshire for its whimsey. Love anything tortoiseshell, of course!

Love tobacco leaf, my mother in law has a large service for it and I love going over for holiday dinners just to see her table set with it.
ReplyDeleteHello Alison, I so hate I didn’t get a post ready for your “Favorites” party. Well maybe it’s a good thing because my fantasy dish wish list could get very long! All of your selections are lovely. I will tell you I would have the Versace Medusa pattern on my list. One of my favorite china patterns is Royal Doulton’s, Booths Real Old Willow. Thanksgiving is the perfect time for this pattern and the colonial look I love.

I jumped to your blog from Hyacinths and I love china! I could eat off a different plate each day if my budget allowed! If money was of no object, I would own Flora Danica china! That is on my wishlist. I do look out at thrift stores, antique stores etc for a small piece. In antique stores, it is still expensive even though it is much less than retail. It is the thrill of the hunt that keeps still keeps me looking...you never know!
