I am a huge fan of table lamps!
 Love the cozy mood set in a room
that is lit by smaller lamps.

What kinds of lamps

are you drawn to?

Glass ones,

porcelain,

iron or metal ones?

I have found things

and had them made into lamps

for those one-of-a-kind pieces.

(Remember this when you see 

something you love when out antiquing  --
ask yourself, "could this be made into a lamp?")

This is one of two lidded urns I found years ago and had them made into lamps.

This is one of two Italian carved wooden candlesticks that
had been made into lamps before I found them at an estate sale.

This little scholarship trophy was also found at a nearby sale.
It's sitting next to an antique English shaving mirror.
