English Crocks

There has been
brown transferware and silver
on the kitchen hutch
for months.

My little collection of printed
antique and vintage crocks has been
G R O W I N G
so I decided to pull it out
of the pantry closet
and decided to display it today.

This will do for a bit!

My mom gave me this blue printed preserves crock from Ohio. Wish I could find more!

So that's my little hutch swirl.

What have you rearranged lately?

Won't miss the silver polishing! :)

  1. I love your vintage English crocks! I have a couple of new surprises on my Welsh dresser in the family room that I will share next week. Hutches and dressers are my favorite forms of nooks to decorate. Love yours!

  4. Those crocks make a beautiful collection. I've been on a step stool putting quilts on the walls and pretending it's about to get cool. Which it is not. But one can dream... Liked your feathers too.

  11. Hey friend! Love both vignettes (trophies and crocks). I just did a post on decorating with vintage trophies! Polishing doesn't bother me ~ I just don't do it lol. Love that patina. Ironically, I've been noticing crocks quite a bit lately and have decided that when and if I see any I'm going to have start a collection. Shhh don't tell my husband!

  14. Alison, it's a treat to see your collection of English crocks. I have a modest collection of these advertising pots too. I keep flatware in most of mine, but like to use them off and on in other ways too….fill them with flowers, use them on party tables, etc. Your vignettes are charming. So enjoyed this post! Happy Long Weekend!
