  1. Chairs are my weakness for some reason I cannot stop buying them...mostly auctions...I have way too many. I think it all began in Out of Africa...those wonderful floral chairs in front of her huge stone fireplace...soft romantic fireglow..I think that's what hooked me in

  10. Alison,
I do have a favorite chair in a favorite room in a favorite corner! :-) That doesn't mean I don't dream of some of these beauties you've shared. I'll look forward to joining you on the first.

  13. I love all of yours!!! This post made me realize that I don't have many chairs. I have dining room chairs of course, and kitchen chairs, which are NOT comfortable. I have one chair in our sitting area where I SOMETIME watch TV. but that's it. I don't think I will be able to come to the party:(:(:( XO, Pinky

  14. Alison,

I have a chair fetish. It's a problem. It's good to know I am not alone!
The Rembrandt I was alluding to was the "Storm On the Sea of Galilee", as shown in your post. Sorry for the confusion!
Not loving the rain we are experiencing lately, but then again, I think I am just in a mood to complain! LOL!
    Hoping you are well...

    xo
