This is the casual
dining table just off
the kitchen in the home
tour house we staged
on Thursday.
We set up the dining room
for adults but wanted to also
have a fun casual derby setting
where their grand-kids might
enjoy the fun!
Jenn found an old vintage
horse race game and we
used it as the centerpiece
on the table.

| We had to tag the edibles that day for "For display only". The last time we staged for a home tour, we didn't do this and the guests ate all of our desserts on display! |

| We added a folk art wooden horse race to the mantel. |
And that's it for the three
rooms we staged for the day.
Too bad there wasn't an actual party
in this lovely home!
Would have been fun.

at Churchill Downs this afternoon?
We had pre-prom festivities here
this afternoon so I did not even get
to watch the event!
Good thing we
taped it. :)

ReplyDeleteYES!! We did watch the Derby and thought it was a GREAT race! No party though, I was packing while Joe was painting. The kids area was done perfectly too. Loved the game and horses on the mantle. XO, Pinky
