Evergreen Urns and One of Your Collections

We have had a very mild November.

Not many cold days at all.
Now we are
nearing the end of December,
and it has been mild as well.
This is not your usual winter in Chicago!

So as you can see,
the ground is brown and most of our mulch
was blown away with the fallen leaves last month.

Here is the grand-daddy urn near the driveway.

This is a small urn along the path to the back door.

Two horsehead posts flank the main sidewalk.

Ok, now to move on to some
business matters.
;)

This is a reminder.....
for my second
 linky party!
You are invited to attend.

 So on January 1st,
the theme will be
COLLECTIONS

So just create a post
or link up to an older post
where you share
a collection of something!

It will be New Year's Day
so maybe just link up
an older post
if that's easier.
(That way you can plant yourself
in front of a football game
instead of the computer if that's your plan?!)

Just PLEASE join me!
Last month was a big flop.
I did not remind and advertise enough!
(Bear with me.)

Hope you will come by and link up!

Everything looks just beautiful!... our state's slogan is "the greatest snow on earth" and we have only had a skiff in the valley here... our ski resorts are all open though as the mountains are covered... one day soon we will be covered in white... wishing you a Merry Christmas!... I will plan on joining your party on the 1st... xoxo Julie Marie

It was warm enough here south of you in Illinois that my mums were still alive, so my urns did not get a christmas make over.

I can not wait to join the new party!

Merry Christmas!

In 2012, I'm going to learn how to join link parties! If 49 million other bloggers know how, I guess there's hope for me! Merry Christmas, in your beautiful home!

Beautiful urn! It's crazy how warm it's been. We just returned home from a Vermont ski trip and it was sad how few slopes were open.

I'm new here and am going to follow along. I have many collections and will participate in your party.

Alison, everything looks beautiful around your house including the urns. Good luck with your party. My first one started off very slowly but ended up being pretty good. I think friends supporting you makes a big difference. You have plenty of blogging buddies so I'm sure yours will do fine. I have a few small collections so I will see what I can put together. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas surrounded by lots of love and laughter.----------

Hey Alison! Hope your Christmas was great. Is your linky party going up on the 31st or the 1st? I am habitually tardy to most linky parties but don't want to be late to yours. Thanks!

I LOVE this blog party idea. Count me in. My son always says to me, "Mom, there is collecting and then there is hoarding. Careful which one you are doing." Love collecting. ~CJ
